Michael Moore
It's sufficient, on the whole, to let Michael Moore hang himself, but Jeff Jarvis gives him a helping hand. Extraordinary: Michael Moore can find only one piece of good news this week, that he has not been silenced. About the relatively bloodless capture of Baghdad, nothing. The relief of so many Iraqis: unmentioned. The freedom of children from political prisons: irrelevant. The documentary maker exists in the same parallel universe inhabited by the Iraqi information minister. As for Moore's unstopped mouth, that's not news of any sort, but a given. It would take a bunker buster bomb to silence him. The only hope for the American Left, a desperately needed counterbalance, is that they'll stop listening. #
