Gawker stalker
Elizabeth Spiers, Gawker's editor, handles hate-mail with aplomb. It's the fans who are truly creepy. Take this email, which landed in the Gawker inbox today: I'm falling in love with you. Not really, but it would be cool to have a girlfriend who only talked like you write. Or better - make a computer chip that could be implanted in a man's current girlfriend or wife - whatever. Anyway, just don't post your photo. I want the fantasy to last...forever! LOL!!! #
