Coalition slump
con_3957_todaylarge.gifA bad day for the coalition. With US forces stuck halfway to Baghdad, and pockets of resistance still in the south, the market now reckons Saddam may last out the month. On Tradesports, where punters can wager on everything from Iraq to the Oscars, the market is estimating a 43% chance that the coalition will remove Saddam from power by the end of March. That's down 19 points from yesterday. But the market still reckons -- 97% likely -- that the Iraqi dictator will be gone by the end of June.
