Osama spiked
Well, someone's optimistic. Tradesports takes bets on the likelihood of Osama Bin Laden's capture or death by the end of June, and the contracts have spiked way up today. The market was pricing a 20% likelihood this morning. It's up to 55% in the latest trading, after rumors that Bush would make some kind of announcement at his news conference this evening. Seems overpriced, given the presidential spokesman has just issued some sort of denial. Given Ari Fleischer's track record for plain speaking -- bad -- who knows?
