Away

life_photo02.jpg
Light posting for the next couple of weeks. Iīm in Brazil. All of a sudden, the Shiite infighting, the looting of museums in Baghdad, it all seems very far away. I saw a coconut-juice guy, in his beachfront stand, with a Star of David round his neck, with not a worry in the world, I assumed, but the shape of his pecs, the messy break. Cariocas have it good, at least if they have money. Couldnīt help thinking: amazing any Israelis are left in the godforsaken Middle East? The old world has been bad to the Jews. Like the elfs in the Lord of the Rings, maybe itīs time to head into the West, and leave the race of Men to confront the dark forces alone.
